Yoga Teacher Training

Join us for a small group training that offers individualized attention and will help you to take your practice to the next level by Living the Wisdom of Yoga & Ayurveda!

Are you ready to take that next step in your journey?

Are you seeking to deepen your personal yoga practice or interested in sharing with others the wonderful benefits of yoga?

Our training will give you the tools that you need to become a skillful yoga teacher. Aligned and rooted in the classical texts of Yoga and blended with Yoga’s sister science of Ayurveda.

This 8-month 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program is designed to introduce you to the important concepts and practices of Yoga & Ayurveda.

Techniques, Training and Practice: You will study in-depth the asanas (poses), subtle aspects of breath (pranayama) and body awareness. You will gain a deeper understanding of the vital energy centers of the body (chakras), layers of the body (koshas). You will establish your own personal practices of Asana, Pranayama, Mediation, and Living the Wisdom. This is the beginning of deepening your relationship to Yoga on and off the mat.

Methodology: You will learn key areas of teaching that will include the principles of postural sequencing, observation, verbal and physical adjustments, postural demonstration, use of voice, and organization of course curriculum.

Yoga Anatomy & Physiology: You will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to Yoga and Ayurveda; nervous, immune, lymphatic, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, muscular and skeletal systems, how the body functions and begin to dig deeper into the layers of your own being with a focus on exploring your personal Dharma through yoga. All of which will strengthen your ability to skillfully teach students.

Yoga & Ayurveda Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers: You will be introduced to yogic philosophy, concepts and history of yoga and Ayurveda as we cover the foundational principles of Yoga and Ayurveda, Paths of Yoga, Limbs of Yoga, Philosophy, and classical texts of Yoga. Our focus is on the essence of holistic living. You will explore what kind of yoga teacher you want to be, learn how to hold space and communicate effectively.

Have a solid personal yoga practice and the desire to take your practice to the next level whether that is to teach or simply to deepen you own practice and knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda.

You are expected to attend all weekends, all Zoom Calls, watch all required videos, complete all practicums, exams, projects, turn in all required homework, and be paid in full before you receive certification. Credential upon graduation - 200 CYT (Certified Yoga Teacher).
