This meditation program includes an introduction to meditation practices and participants will explore a different type of guided meditation each week. Meditation helps to relax your mind, increase your ability to concentrate and decrease stress. Life moves so quickly and even taking just a few moments each day to focus on an intentional meditation practice, you will find that you are able to experience a more peaceful state of being in your everyday life. This program is for beginners who are interested in learning the principles of meditation and for those looking to deepen their practice.
This program is a special 5 week series that is offered in the spring and fall or privately.
FINDING INNER PEACE
Calm your mind, settle your body and find a softer focus to your day. These classes include gentle, mindful movement and breathing practices that support your meditation practice. You will explore guided meditations from many traditions which may include: Mantra meditation, guided imagery, mindfulness etc... Meditation can be done in a chair or on a yoga mat. Leave feeling centered, restored, and balanced within the body, mind, and spirit. These classes offer a safe and nourishing space to experience the benefits of meditation, whether you are a beginner or are looking to deepen your practice.
